Yasmine El Baggari
Yasmine El Baggari, based in California, and a graduate of Harvard University, is the Founding President of the platform “VOYAJ” . Yasmine has worked with the World Bank, conducted research at Harvard University, and worked for the U.S. State Department as an Engage America Ambassador. She has spoken at the World Economic Forum, the Middle East Studies Association and Obama’s Global Entrepreneurship Summit. Her work has been published in National Geographic, Forbes, the BBC and the Huffington Post. She has received awards from the African Studies Association and Hampshire College for entrepreneurship and innovation. She is one of the White House’s 100 most influential travel bloggers and was featured on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Africa list.

Dr. Yifat Ben Hay-Sergev
Dr. Yifat Ben Hay-Sergev, President of the Israel Council for Cable and Satellite Broadcasting, holds a PhD in Communication Studies from Bar-Ilan University, supervised by the University of Michigan. Dr Ben-Hay Segev is a member of the board of directors of several companies such as Hadassah medical, Hadassit, TV Channel 13′ news. She has also served as CEO of the Israeli TV Audience Research Board, as a member of the board of the Second Television and Radio Authority, as spokesperson for the Israeli Ministry of Health, as spokesperson for the city of Holon, as senior director of public relations, research and production for the General Federation of Labour in Israel, and as spokesperson for the National Organization of Israeli Students. Dr Ben-Hay Segev is a lecturer at Bar-Ilan University and Ono Academic College. She is also a member of the Israel Women’s Network Foundation, listed as one of the 50 most powerful women in Israel (Lady Globes) 2014-2018, and ranked among the 100 most powerful women in Israel in the media (The Marker) 2014-2018
Maitre Ndaté DIENG
Maitre Ndaté DIENG received her degree in International Relations from the prestigious Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies. She began her career as an international lawyer with the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda and the Secretariat of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights. In 2020, after several years of advising the largest law firms in Switzerland and the Court of Justice – Chamber of Appeal and Revision of the Republic and Canton of Geneva, she founded the law firm Dieng Studer Law with her partner Cécé David STUDER, which advises both institutional and private clients. Maitre Ndaté Dieng’s practice focuses on international law (commercial, criminal and public law), civil and criminal litigation, immigration law and business law. In this context, she has been advising companies active in the renewable energy sector for several years. In particular, she has drafted and negotiated major contracts between her clients and African governments in connection with the research, exploration and marketing of natural hydrogen and has assisted them in the integration of this new resource into their legislative framework. Maitre Ndaté DIENG is also very involved with associations and public utility foundations. She is the Vice-President of the African Peace Conference, a foundation whose aim is to promote peace, social development and human rights, particularly on the African continent, through the culture of dialogue and tolerance.
Rebecca Ayoko Atayi
Rebecca Ayoko Atayi, Chairman and CEO of the “PLATINE LOME-TOGO” Group, the first reference in the communication sector, is
known for the excellence and the rigor of the accompaniment of the enterprises in the accomplishment of their commercial, marketing,
and communication objectives. A jurist in international law, she knows the banking sector ideally, having evolved there for more than ten
years and, more precisely, at BIA TOGO. Then, she focused on communication by founding her first communication agency,
“SYMBOLE,” which was to become the “Platine” Group. Indeed, thanks to her experience and her permanent innovation quest, she
launched a recruitment campaign of high-level executives, and thus constituted a powerful force that contributed to the creation and
raised her new communication agency PLATINE to the position of leader recognized by its innovation in large format advertising, digital
signage, event management, consulting, strategic planning, operational communication, graphic design and digital printing. Platine is also
distinguished by its two subsidiaries, “SKILLS,” which is dedicated to Development and Web Marketing, and “la Clé D’Or,” which is
dedicated to Private Concierge Services for Companies and Individuals. Rebecca will act as a natural part of the African Academy for
Ecological Development as a businesswoman with an unprecedented associative DNA. Rebecca has always enjoyed being at the heart of
the action as she has been a founding member of the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Togo (AFCET) since 2001 for advocating
women’s rights and promoting female entrepreneurship. Rebecca is also present alongside African businessmen in the “Synergy of
Businessmen for Economic Recovery (SHARE) created in 2009, of which she was the promoter and founding member, all this for
concrete and direct involvement of businessmen in the economic and social action of the government. Rebecca joined our advisory board
to bring to our Academy the experience acquired through her background and through the network of businessmen and women,
intellectuals, politicians, and experts in all fields in Togo, Africa, and the world where she has worked.
Stephane Aver
Stéphane Aver, a graduate of the Université Panthéon-Sorbonne (Paris I) with a specialisation in business administration, banking and finance, is President and Founder of “Aaqius”, a Swiss company specialised in low-carbon technological innovation. He is the initiator of the new business focused on the research, exploration, exploitation and processing of native hydrogen under the brand and company HYNAT. He is the founding Chairman of Stor-H Technologies which has introduced a new zero CO2 energy standard to power urban & light mobility and has received full support from the Moroccan authorities, the Chinese central government, the State of Dubai, the French government and the Vietnamese government. He is President of the Transitions Foundation, under the aegis of FACE (Fondation Agir Contre l’Exclusion), a founding member of the Maison méditerranéenne du climat based in Tangier, a member of the Fondation Prospective & Innovation, a member of the Board of Directors of the Franco-Arab Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the BOAO Forum for Asia, chaired by Ban Ki-moon. In 2021, Stéphane Aver joined Dr Abdelhamid KHALIL as co-founder of the African Academy for Ecological Development.
Fouad Attar
Fouad Attar, CEO of VELING Aircraft Leasing LTD, is an aeronautical engineer, a graduate of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de l’Aeronautique et de l’Espace (Sup’aero), holds a Master’s degree in Robotics from the University of Toulouse, and a diploma in Business Administration from the IAE (Institut d’Administration d’Entreprises) in Toulouse. Fouad Attar started his career at Airbus, in 1984, as a development and maintenance engineer for flight simulators. He returned to Airbus in 2006 to manage the company’s commercial activities in the Middle East and North Africa, based in Dubai. Prior to rejoining Airbus, Fouad was Senior Vice President Commercial and Business Development at EADS Sogerma. He also served as Vice President Marketing and Sales of Air France Industries, where he successfully grew the company’s business in key aircraft maintenance markets in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America for five years. Fouad Attar was also Director at Royal Air Maroc where he developed all the engineering departments and managed all the international certifications of the national airline.
Abdelhamid Khalil
Dr. Abdelhamid Khalil, Founding President of the African Academy for Ecological Development, received his PhD from the Ecole des Ponts Paris-Tech on Value Co-creation and Design Thinking. He is also a laureate of Ecole Centrale Nantes, France, and holds an MBA from Webster University, Regent college, London. After 14 years in operations, engineering and production, he extended his field of intervention, including commercial as a representative of royal air maroc in several countries such as England, Spain, USA, Canada, Brazil, and Switzerland, before being entrusted with the position of Director of the Americas based in New York, and then Director of Europe based in Paris. He is a founding member of the Palm Tree Foundation, a member of the British Moroccan Society, a member of the “IoD” Institute of Directors in London, and a member of the “CEPS” Centre d’Etude et Prospective Stratégique in Paris. He was also the founding President of the Moroccan-Spanish Chamber of Commerce (Madrid 2008-2009). Dr Abdelhamid Khalil received the silver palm and the crown of the “Ligue Universelle du Bien Public” (2019, Garde Républicaine, Paris) alongside the former President of the French Republic François Hollande.
Ali El Kasmi
Dr. Ali Kasmi, who obtained his doctorate from the University of Paris II Sorbonne/Panthéon in International Private Law, is the General Manager of the Anglo-Moroccan tour operator Travel Link, based in Marrakech. He has served at the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) for over 30 years. He was Deputy Director General of the office in Paris from 1980 to 1990. Then he was director of the ONMT for Belgium and Luxembourg. From 1994-1996, he was responsible for public relations and events at the ONMT headquarters in Rabat. He then went on to manage the NTMO in London for almost 20 years where he received several awards, including the Globe Travel Awards, travelWeekly, African Business Awards and the Corporate Council on Africa. Dr Ali Kasmi is the organiser of the ABTA Association of British Travel Agencies World Conference and the Guardian Observer Award in Marrakech. He has nationally and globally recognised experience in tourism development in the regions
Sengchanh Ming Boupha
Dr. Sengchanh Ming, is the CEO of Saint Lefo International Import-Export Co. He is also the President of Eurasia Energy Group Ltd., and the Managing Director of Cannes Jewelry Company. Dr. Ming holds a PhD from the University of California, USA and is considered an expert in international trade. He also holds a degree in French literature and culture from the University of Paris VII. Dr Ming is the Vice President of the Universal League of Public Good. He is also President of the Association of Chinese in France, and President of the Association of Economic Promotion for Overseas Chinese in Europe. He has received the Gold Medal of the European Star of Civil and Military Devotion 2008; Gold Medal of the Universal League of Public Welfare 2009; Gold Medal of the Civic Star 2009, Gold Medal of the World Star and the trophy of the World Chinese Entrepreneur Association 2015. He has also received the Vermeil Medal, the Medal of Honor for Voluntary Services 2019: Franco-British Knight, Silver Medal
Dr. Hans Patel
Dr. Hans Patel, a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, is also a writer. His books include “Royal Families and Palaces of Gujarat India” in 1998, and “Golfing in Morocco” in 2002. He is also the head of four property investment companies in the UK. Dr. Hans Patel was a Council Member of the Local Dental Committee 1980 – 2000, Council Member of the General Dental Practitioners Association 1985-1998, Council Member of the British Dental Health Foundation 1987-1998, Chairman of the Watford Branch of the British Dental Association 1998- 2015, and Consultant for Indus Travel 2000-2005. He is a Founding Trustee of the Palmtree Foundation, which provides dental aid in Morocco, and a Board Member of the British Moroccan Society.
Ali Bahaijoub
Dr. Ali Bahaijoub, who holds a PhD in history and international relations from the London School of Economics (LSE), is a professor, writer and journalist. He has written numerous studies and feature articles on Africa, the Arab world, Europe and international organisations. He is a commentator for the BBC, CNN, Press TV, France24, TF1, MBC and other international networks. He is a former President of the London Foreign Press Association and President of the International Federation of Foreign Press Associations. He is currently vice-president of the British-Moroccan Society; editor of the global online daily northsouthnews.com and the Africa News Agency. He is also Director General of the London-based Centre for Euro-Mediterranean and African Studies. He is the author of the published books Western Sahara Conflict: Historical, Regional and International Dimensions (2010); and Algeria and the Western Sahara Conflict (2021). He also co-authored with Guy Arnold the Encyclopedia of Africa.
Asher Segev
Asher Sergev, a recognized entrepreneur, investor and strategic consultant in the high-tech sector, specializing in automotive and start-ups. He is a board member and regional director of “Aaquis” in Israel, a Swiss automotive company. Asher served in Detroit for 7 years as CEO of Microheat, a pioneering Israeli-American R&D company that developed, among other things, a de-icing system for windshields. He was also one of the founders of “Hadaka ha90”, the first online tourism company in Israel. In 1995, he was appointed head of the Israeli Ministry of Religious Affairs, led the Israeli delegation to the Interim Agreement on the West Bank and Gaza Strip (Oslo II), and played a very active role in enhancing interfaith tolerance by providing a global platform for dialogue. Asher holds a Master’s degree in Political Science and Business Administration from Haifa University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Middle East Studies from Tel Aviv University. He is also a laureate of the Israeli National Security College.
