African Academy for Eco-Development honoured at British Moroccan Society ceremony

Marrakech - The African Academy for Ecological Development, a British Community Interest Company (CIC), was in the spotlight on Saturday in Marrakech for a colourful ceremony organised by the British Moroccan Society (BMS) as part of a series of activities planned in the Ochre City and the High Atlas mountain regions. The ceremony, enhanced by the presence of members of the steering and advisory committees, as well as "ambassadors" of the African Academy for Eco-Development, highlighted, among other things, the actions carried out by this organisation in favour of eco-development in Africa and the improvement of the socio-economic conditions of African women. Recognised by the Social Enterprise Body of the United Kingdom, the London-based African Academy for Ecological Development was born out of the reflection of several actors and professionals who have evolved internationally in different sectors of activity, and who wished to contribute to the sustainable development of the African continent. In their speeches, several speakers from among the BMS members expressed their joy and pride at being in Morocco, and more specifically in Marrakech, on the occasion of the meeting of the African Academy for Ecological Development.
